Sky might be the go-to firm for those wanting access to premium TV but Virgin Media is fighting back. The telecoms giant has just launched a batch of new deals that offer its “lowest ever” prices. In fact, signing up for one of the bundles will currently save you over £460 off the usual price. That deal is available on Virgin’s Biggest Combo bundle which includes Sky Sports, Sky Cinema, Netflix plus fast 350Mbps broadband speeds.
Virgin says it has cut things from £91 per month down to just £64.99 in this sale event with that lower fee lasting for 18 months. If you don’t want Sky Cinema but still fancy watching all of the latest sporting action then there’s also a deal on the Bigger Combo bundle + Sports HD package.
Virgin says this did cost £71 but that’s now been reduced to just £59.99 – that’s a saving of £198 over the term of the contract.
This bundle features all of Sky’s Sports channels, a TV 360 Box and 362Mbps broadband speeds.

The only thing to be aware of is that prices will rise slightly in 2025 as part of the yearly cost hikes. You also need to make sure you renegotiate at the end of the term or will you face huge increases. For example, once the 18-month Bigger Combo bundle + Sports HD deal ends the price jumps from £59.99 to £150 a month – ouch!
You might also be wondering how these deals compare to Sky’s current offers.
A quick glance at Sky’s deals shows you can currently get a Stream box with Netflix, Sky Sports and Entertainment for £58 per month. That is £1.99 cheaper than Virgin but this bundle does have slower download speeds and doesn’t include a landline with free weekend calls.
If you add 500Mbps and Sky Cinema you’ll then pay £74 per month – that’s almost £10 more than Virgin’s Biggest Combo bundle.
It’s also worth noting that, unlike Virgin’s 360 box, Sky Stream doesn’t have an internal hard drive with content stored on the cloud instead.
